Sony sells three million PlayStation VR headsets

Sony is now celebrating an important milestone for the PlayStation VR, and is sharing its jubilation with the world. Citing TrendForce data from July, Statista said Sony shipped about 1.7 million PS VR units in 2017 and another 2 million globally in the first half of 2018 for a total of about 3.7 million.

"We are excited to reveal today that Sony Interactive Entertainment has officially sold-through more than three million PlayStation VR systems worldwide, along with 21.9 million PS VR games and experiences".

Survios entered the virtual reality (VR) fitness sector earlier this year with Sprint Vector and soon the studio plans on cementing that position with movie tie-in Creed: Rise to Glory, a heart-pumping boxing title. Coming out on September 25th, 2018 is Creed: Rise to Glory.

Plus, if you missed out on some of the top 10 most-played PSVR games (including The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR on top of the list) you can hit up the Totally Digital Sale, going on right now via the PlayStation Store. It, too, is available to pre-order as of writing.
