The View Is Adding A Fox News Host To Replace Sara Haines

Fox & Friends Weekend co-host Huntsman, daughter of U.S. Ambassador to Russia Jon Hunstman, would give the show a second conservative host to keep Sen.

Now, sources close to "The View" tell Page Six that while "a deal isn't done", the show "is very interested in a role for her".

Huntsman joins "The View" after several news outlets have sought to burnish their Republican credentials with Donald Trump in the White House and Republicans ascendant in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.

Abby has been in the running for weeks as a replacement for Sara Haines, along with CNN contributor Ana Navarro.

Huntsman's last appearances on "Fox & Friends" will be this Saturday and Sunday. She recently slammed the president after his meeting with Putin last month, in which Trump seemed to side with Russian Federation on USA election interference.

The Hill has reached out to ABC for comment. Those figures made it the most-watched season since Barbara Walters retired four years ago, Fox reported.

She joins right-leaning Meghan McCain, who regularly debates against left-leaning veteran stars Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg as well as co-star Sunny Hostin.
