This year's Super Bowl will be held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the home of the Falcons. With just under five months until the big game rolls around, Maroon 5 will have plenty of time to plan the biggest music spectacular EVER. Instead, the National Football League has gravitated toward more pop music-centric artists for its most recent Super Bowls, with the likes of Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, and Beyoncé having all taken the stage in recent years. "The Voice" coach reportedly told Howard Stern in 2015 that they "actively want to play the Super Bowl". However, a break following their show in Las Vegas on December 31 before the Australian leg of their tour starts on February 19 would mean that February 3 would be open for a halftime performance. He went on to say that they've been on the short list of performers for a while.

If they can't get Cardi, they can call up any of the people they recently collaborated with. Looking over their career, Maroon 5 could actually be a decent Halftime show if they make sure to invite all their friends.
