Twitter users explain #whyIdidntreport after Trump attacks Christine Blasey Ford’s credibility

Christine Blasey Ford's decision followed days of negotiations and came after Trump turned against her and said her accusation could not be true.

"I have no doubt that, if the attack on Dr. Ford was as bad as she says, charges would have been immediately filed with local Law Enforcement Authorities by either her or her loving parents", he tweeted.

Ford says she believes the attack happened sometime around 1982, and has indicated that she is willing to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee who will decide whether or not to confirm Kavanaugh's appointment to the Supreme Court.

Milano is 45, by the way - and her comments have now led to a "Twitter moment".

Just like Ivanka, President Trump, nor any White House officials, have responded to Milano's criticism.

"TAKE THE VOTE!" Trump tweeted, blaming "radical left wing politicians" for the controversy.

Grassley had wanted the hearing to take place on Wednesday, but Ford asked that it be held on Thursday at the earliest and to be able to call as a witness a man she says was present during the assault.

Perhaps the President will listen before he tweets next time.

There are many reasons victims do not report sexual assault, and one federal agency found that the overwhelming majority of sexual violence incidents go unreported in the United States.

The tweets immediately sparked the hashtag #WhyIDidntReport where thousands of women and men shared their experiences of sexual assault and sexual abuse.

He claimed that if the assault was as serious as she claims it to be, it must have been reported.

Now, sexual assault survivors are using the president's preferred social media platform to share their personal stories of why they didn't come forward. More than a dozen women have accused Trump of sexual assault or misconduct and have faced attacks on their character and demeaning insults from the president.

In an interview with the Washington Post, she describes him pinning her on the bed on her back, groping her, grinding his body on her and attempting to pull off her clothing off while Judge watched on. "'I can not live in this country if he's in the Supreme Court'".
