ConcernedApe also says that this mobile port has no impact on the multiplayer portion of the game that is actively being worked on for console platforms.

Stardew Valley on iOS is supported on iPhone and iPad.

I might not be necessarily eager to get back to the Valley, but if I did, it's nice to know I could bring along my established farms. It's a charming and relaxing farming simulator that was clearly a labor of love for its developer.

Developer ConcernedApe announced that Stardew Valley is coming to smartphones, and will begin with its iOS App Store release in a little over 2 weeks, October 24, 2018. It plays nearly identically.

It's the full game, not a cut down version, and plays nearly identically to all other versions. There's also no multiplayer, which wouldn't work too well on a phone anyway.

Pre-orders for Stardew Valley mobile will go live today on the App Store, and it will run you £7.99/$7.99/€8.99.

The cool part, is that players of the PC version will be able to transfer their save via iTunes and continue expanding their existing farms. And, if you're using mods in Stardew Valley on PC, that will cause problems when importing the save files.

The smartphone version of Stardew Valley is being developed by The Secret Police, a London-based mobile development studio, who have been working on it for about a year. Unfortunately, mod support and multiplayer content isn't available in the mobile version.

The iOS version launches on October 24, but there's no launch date for the Android port right now.
