Joe's prison release date is now listed as March 14, 2019. Teresa served 11 months and was released in December 2015 ― her homecoming was documented on the Bravo reality show ― and has since released a book about her time behind bars.

Season 9 of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" premieres on November 7.

"Real Housewives of New Jersey" husband Joe Giudice is likely headed back to Italy after his release from prison.

Joe and Teresa, both 46, pleaded guilty to 41 counts of fraud in 2014.

On a positive note, the couple's 2009 bankruptcy case was dismissed in June, and they intend on staying together with their four daughters, Gia, 17, Gabriella, 14, Milania, 12, and Audriana, 9.

During a previous court hearing in regard to his potential deportation, Joe attempted to convince the judge on his case to allow him to remain in the US with his wife Teresa and their four daughters. Teresa was released after almost a year in December 2015. "I mean, Italy's a handsome place to live", she previously said, according to People. "If Joe doesn't win the appeal, his relationship with Teresa is in question".

"The deportation has always been a thing in the back of the family's mind, but now it's a harsh reality", the source told ET. Nothing seemed to make sense, they didn't alter their lifestyle at all.

The one good news for Joe is that Teresa recently revealed through her attorney that she has no plans to divorce him. "This news was a shock to Teresa mostly because she could never face this as an option in their lives".

Giudice is an Italian citizen who came to the U.S.as an infant and wasn't aware he wasn't an American citizen.
