Luke Shaw has signed a new five-year deal at Manchester United in a development he admitted would have seemed "impossible" not long ago.

As well as manager Jose Mourinho, Paul Pogba has come in for sustained criticism over his efforts and some of the players at Old Trafford are starting to resent the treatment.

Pallister added of another man proven at the very highest level: "I was absolutely buzzing when United signed him because his performances at Arsenal showed he was a world-class talent".
