Basketball: Superstar LeBron James still finding balance with the Lakers

With the arrival of James in the offseason, Kuzma's role was bound to change.

"We've had that mutual respect and I saw how talented he was playing him twice a year ago and watching him the late games when I was in the Eastern Conference".

Kuzma has often been noted for his scoring prowess, but has faced scrutiny over the defensive side of his game. The Suns young star has been productive this season, averaging 24.5 points per game. "Sometimes I wonder, 'How did we lose?' If feels like everybody's competing, but I try to go back and look at some of the numbers, it's kind of confusing because I know everybody was playing hard".

Thursday's win snapped a two-game losing streak for the Lakers. The Suns will play three games this upcoming week with matchups against Sacramento, Portland, and Miami.

"Brian [Windhorst] got it wrong", Johnson told SiriusXM NBA Radio.

"If you watch us play, the ball is not in LeBron James' hands all of the time".

"We have a system that the ball moves around, a lot of pick-and-roll plays".

"But hey, we're the Lakers".

"There's times in the game where you're LeBron James or you're whoever the best player is on the team, you're going to take over".

"He's continuing to get better and better, not just offensively but defensively".
