Foster accuser says she lied on witness stand to help him

The Washington Redskins' decision to claim Reuben Foster after he had been released following a domestic violence arrest was another "slap in the face", the linebacker's ex-girlfriend said.

"I've been getting help and stuff like that, and this is not love", Ennis told ABC when asked if she still loves Foster.

Elissa Ennis appeared on "Good Morning America" Thursday where she accused Foster of roughing her up on 3 separate occasions. including the November 24 incident at a team hotel in Tampa, Florida.

The 49ers released Foster soon after the incident.

But Sharpe continued: "What this move tells me is they view what Kaepernick did as a more egregious act than what Foster allegedly has done".

In January this year, Foster was arrested in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, for marijuana possession.

"He called me out there to work on our relationship", Ennis said.

"He called me out there so we could work on our relationship".

Ennis said Foster had struck her three times during the course of their relationship.

In October, she said another incident prompted the neighbors to phone the police.

After Foster was arrested on charges of felony domestic violence stemming from a February incident at his home in Los Gatos, California, the 49ers told Foster that any future legal issues would likely result in his release.

Speaking on Fox Sports, Sharpe questioned why the Redskins were "willing to give Reuben Foster an opportunity but they are not willing to bring Colin Kaepernick in and give him a workout".

The 49ers secured the second and third floors of the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay.

On Thursday, Ennis recalled her horror at learning her alleged attacker had been picked up by another team. According to a police report, Foster allegedly slapped Ennis on the side of her face. I told that I was gonna tell his new girlfriend that he paid for my flight out there, so that's what triggered it. ...

"We've got people who are in high, high, high, high places that have done far worse, and if you look at it realistically, they're still up there", Williams said. "I have pictures of the 49ers coming up there trying to talk to the police and saying I'm the same ex-girlfriend that sat up there and lied".

Ennis said she was there with Foster to discuss their relationship.

Now, she said she was lying to a Santa Clara County judge to protect Foster from potential career-ending prosecution.

Foster had gotten physical with her three times before, she said. Pulled me by my hair.

Why did she later recant her statement to police? She said in the interview that she and Foster were very close, but behind the scenes Foster wasn't the "good-hearted person" her family thought he was.

Ennis said her original account to authorities was what actually happened before Foster's February arrest. During that hearing, Ennis admitted to making false charges against another ex-boyfriend in 2011 in Louisiana and going to jail. But when asked about her explanation for recanting those allegations, she said, "I was not telling the truth" about the reason she provided. I thought that he would change, ' she said. If somebody you love come crying to you, telling you that they didn't have anybody, you'd do the same thing, too.

She later added, "I did what I had to do for the person I love".
