Kevin Durant: Media Creates 'Toxic' Atmosphere Around LeBron James

"Guys similar to (LeBron), why would they want to play with somebody who does all the same things?"

While the thought of playing with Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is appealing to some, it's not as dreamy of an idea to other National Basketball Association players. Moreover, LeBron's style of play doesn't bode well for players used to having the ball in their hands. "It's early. We count on LeBron to do a lot for us and there's a lot of responsibility that comes with the type of player he is".

Although James may be used to the constant pressure, media and negativity, it can be quite the burden for his teammates to handle as Durant pointed out.

"Which, I think, he deserves way more credit for switching his game". Bosh, same way. LeBron is a player that needs to play with guys that already know how they play the game - and shooters. The articles dives into the dynamics of playing with the most talked about player in the National Basketball Association. "He's played with LeBron, actually", Bosh said. It's not LeBron's fault at all; it's just the fact you have so many groupies in the media that love to hang on every word. For somebody of his talent that's won as much as he has, for winning to still be the ultimate prize for him, I think really speaks to him and how he is and the way that he works and preps and the way that he just carries himself. I'm like, we're playing basketball here, and it's not even about basketball at certain points.

"Once I got in, it was just a matter of me trying to make plays and seeing what happened".

"Especially when the attention is bullsh- attention, fluff", Durant continued. It was just, 'When you have a player like LeBron you got to make it about LeBron, ' or something like that. Now, there is a lot to unload here. The Lakers may be playing well now, but the real fun is supposed to begin in another year, when Kevin Durant or Kawhi Leonard joins forces with. Everyone wants him to leave, and by doing this it makes it sound as if joining the Lakers with LeBron would be a bad situation for any superstar. But at the moment, no positive outcome comes to mind from that.

There is always the possibility he is trying to trick us by thinking he is not going to the Lakers.
