OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition Leaks With Speed Orange Highlights And 10GB RAM

The "Notify Me" page for the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is already live over on Amazon, so stay tuned for more updates. The date for the launch of this new special edition device has been scheduled to be on December 12.

We're now very close to the December 11 announcement of the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition, but there's no need to wait until then to see the phone, because leaked renders seem to have given us an early look at the handset.

With respect to design, the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition doesn't look any different from the regular OnePlus 6T. According to the leak, the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition smartphone will be launched next week with premium features including 10GB of RAM, Warp Charge fast charging technology, and a McLaren-inspired premium design with a logo of the automotive brand imprinted on the back panel. Furthermore, the phone will sport a new color. The McLaren limited edition device will come with a textured kevlar-style back and orange accents running across the phone's frame, which is McLaren's signature colour scheme. The McLaren Speed Orange variant will arrive with a whopping 10GB of RAM (and Google decided on 4GB for the Pixel 3), and 256GB of onboard storage.

OnePlus has, for the first time, has officially mentioned "warp" and introducing its next speedster (or flagship killer, as everyone still knows it) could be the ideal occasion to make the switch.

Apart from that, the McLaren version is also expected to come with Warp Charge, and the new version of the fast-charging technology would apparently be enough to give the 3700mAh battery a day's worth of charge in just 20 minutes. Having used Super VOOC it blows every other charging solution out of the water when it comes to charging speed, without getting the phone or charger hot. Also, interested fans of the brand will be able to buy passes for the launch event which is going to be held in Richardson and Cruddas, Byculla, Mumbai.
