Smash Ultimate Has a Bonus for Pokémon: Let's Go Players

And this will sound blasphemous to some, but if you don't care about the Smash Bros. etchings on the Switch Joy-Cons and dock, you can pick up a brand new Nintendo Switch and a copy of Smash Bros.

Looks like the much-beloved manuals that, once upon a time, accompanied games are making a comeback! There's even a page that even shows the Nintendo logo and copyrights, which might have you thinking it's from them.

Gaming manuals were great, weren't they?

If you're not a fan of Pokémon (or just haven't gotten around to picking up the Let's Go games), don't fret.


But one long-suffering fan has put an end to this.

We'd suggest holding out if you can, but if December 7 - Smash Bros.

If you've been keeping up with all the Smash news, you know the new game features a new Spirits Mode featuring dozens of characters who didn't quite make it in as playable fighters. The manual is made up of images from Nintendo's coverage of the game, while move sets are based on information from Nintendo, previous Smash announcements, and from what the author learned from playing the game at conventions.

Ultimate's download file size is just 13.6 GB for those buying a virtual version of the game on the Nintendo eShop. Are you hopeful that the story mode will be just as fun as you were expecting it to be?
