Stranger Things 3: The Game Is Creeping Onto All Platforms

Stranger Things is a Netflix production.

A trailer for a new game based on "Stranger Things" was shown via The Game Awards on Thursday evening.

Much like the third season, there's now no release date for the game, although it's reportedly set to be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Mac, PC, and mobile devices.

The game will also support cooperative play, and will be compatible with Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch when it comes to cross-play support. Since then, fans have received all kinds of merchandise - most of which you can find in this writer's home.

Developer Bonus XP partnered with Netflix to create this 16-bit title, following up their previous partnership that created Stranger Things: The Game. Last year, in the lead up to the release of Season Two, BonusXP released a Stranger Things game to mobiles based around the show's first season and featuring Sheriff Hopper searching for different characters around Hawkins. It's just a matter of seeing what settles over the next few months. Maybe a new Netflix series trailer can give us an idea.? Like the series itself!

No release date was confirmed during the show. Stranger Things 3: The Game should arrive sometime in 2019.
