Marvel teases Fantastic Four content for Spider-Man

Even though comic books like the X-Men and Fantastic Four are responsible for some of Marvel's oldest and most revered characters they don't own the movie rights to them and so in recent years they've been deemphasised, or simply left out, of most new games.

Marvel is now celebrating the Fantastic Four through an event called "Fantastic Four: World's Greatest Week" with news related to the powerful group of heroes coming all this week.

While there will be several more announcements coming in the next few days, there was a Spider-Man tease towards the end of the live stream today that confirms that something Fantastic Four-related will indeed be coming to Insomniac's open-world action game on PS4 "very soon".

'Something "fantastic" is coming to Marvel's Spider-Man real soon. "But you'll want to keep an eye out for this. It's going to be wonderful and fantastic". After Spider-Man had his black symbiote suit removed by Reed Richards so it could be analyzed, he was given a spare Fantastic Four costume to wear on the web-swing home, but because the Fantastic Four members don't wear masks, he had to put a paper bag over his head to hide his secret identity.

What the content might be is anyone's guess, but Marvel's Spider-Man has already laid the groundwork for all sorts of possibilities.

Kick off the new year with an epic quest following an exclusive Fantastic Four story featuring our four heroes and unlock some pretty darn fantastic rewards. To me, these are the only two options when it comes to cosmetic items that could be added to Marvel's Spider-Man.

So what do you think this "fantastic" content will turn out to be?
