Queen Fires Back At Critics For Poor Bohemian Rhapsody Reviews

After accepting the award for Best Actor in a Drama Film earlier in the night, Malek returned to the stage with the "Bohemian Rhapsody" cast and crew to collect the trophy for the Best Drama Motion Picture.

And it looks like the Freddie Mercury star might just take the Oscar, seeing as every Golden Globe victor in his category has gone on to do so since 2013.

The majority of critics felt the movie was all over the place and did a disservice to the memory of Freddie Mercury. It follows singer Freddie Mercury's life from his joining the band in 1970, to their Live Aid performance at Wembley Stadium in 1985.

Queen fans and audience members didn't agree with this assessment and watched the movie in droves anyway, earning it £583 million at the global box office.

The actor said: "And of course [thanks] to Queen".

The problem, based on some commenters reaction, was that Bohemian Rhapsody Director Bryan Singer was credited in the movie despite getting fired a few weeks before production wrapped up because he failed to show up to set on multiple occasions.

'I'm so happy Rami Malek and Bohemian Rhapsody won Golden Globes, ' she wrote Sunday evening.

There's also the numerous allegations of sexual abuse and misconduct levied at him that have been quieted for many years until the #MeToo movement really came into effect in Hollywood.

In the past five years, the top acting awards at the Globes and the Oscars have matched three times. Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor served as creative and musical consultants on the film.

Eighth Grade star Elsie Fisher was attacked by people online after she commended Bohemian Rhapsody for its two Golden Globes wins, but she didn't let the critics bring her down.

Having said that, congratulations to Rami Malek.
