Campbell reportedly purchased the ticket for $200 in Jamaican money, and took 54 days to claim the winning ticket. Not an inch of Mr. Campbell was exposed - donned in a full coat, long trousers and gloves in an effort to completely hide his identity.

The man, known only as A. Campbell on his giant check, wore the mask made popular by the 1996 movie "Scream" when he signed for the winning jackpot prize on February 5 in Kingston, Jamaica.

The ghoulish victor picked up a cheque for a whopping $158.4 million in the Super Lotto jackpot, though this sum is considerably less whopping when you convert it from Jamaican dollars to United States dollars ($1.17 million / £907,000).

The emoji mask-wearing victor, identified only as N. Gray, won $180 million Jamaican dollars and wore the mask "in response to rampant crime in the country", Sky News reported.

"Unfortunately, Jamaica is not like other markets", Clarke-Cooper told the newspaper about the lottery.

"Sure enough they wrote me the one dollar cheque and had me hold it up and took the picture", Heep said.
