The Division 2 Open Beta Accidentally Outed by Massive Entertainment Dev

If Washington D.C.is lost, the entire nation falls.

Ubisoft has confirmed The Division 2 will get an open beta ahead of the game's March release date. During a livestream, The Division 2 developers let it slip that they were "going to fix" a lot of bugs "for the open beta".

We've reached out to Ubisoft to see if there's any official comment on an open beta.

Similarly, we can only make an educated guess, based on past events, as to what will be included in the forthcoming open beta. This will also take place only two weeks prior to launch and will be your last opportunity to test the game out for yourself before it becomes readily available for all.

The team also held near constant live streams for the beta, answering questions and providing tips to fans of the shooter.

Now, The Division 2 having an open beta shouldn't come as a surprise. We are grateful for all the feedback, all the bug reports and all the suggestions that you gave us over the course of those days (and after!).

Developed by Swedish studio Massive Entertainment and published by parent company Ubisoft, The Division 2 releases in just over a months' time on the 15th March 2019 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
