Draymond Green uses his Instagram Story to call social media the devil

Stephen Curry is the engine that powers the Warriors and he will need to turn up his play if the team has any hope of ending the season on a high note.

Caught on video Sunday expressing sheer and profane frustration - according to amateur lip-readers - with the antics of forward Draymond Green during the loss to the Suns, Kerr opted to alter his statement. In answering a question about the team's inconsistency, Thompson complained about the fans, saying, "I expect our crowd to be a little more into it, too".

So on Monday, roughly 16 hours after internal conflicts contributed to blowing a 16-point lead at home, Kerr resorted to humor in hopes of alleviating some of the gravity of this pivotal moment of the season.

Kerr has regularly praised Green's production on both ends of the court this season, though Golden State as a whole has struggled to play the kind of smothering defense that defined its run to a repeat title last season. "But as far we need to clear the air, there's no air to clear".

The lip readers were wrong. Instead, Kerr offered some clarity on the controversy: "What I said was, "I beg to differ with Draymond's approach.' Those were my exact words". "Like, I know it's not the playoffs, but it is our last go-round at Oracle". I don't think that helped last night.

After the game, Golden State star Klay Thompson chided Warriors fans for being less than enthusiastic in showing their support to rally the team. We all feel it.

"It's 2019", Kerr said. The Warriors long ago got all the benefits of idolization, and now we're all in full shred-down mode.

"George Orwell was right", Kerr reflected. He wrote "1984.' The title should have been '2012" or so. "I decided I'm now going to get a giant laminated board with all of my play calls and I'm going to turn into an National Football League coach from here on out". After the game, a KNBR reporter tweeted that he heard Durant yell in the hallway, "Stupid a - motherf- game we playing". You've got to figure out how to survive and thrive in the modern way of life. We've got to stay connected emotionally.
