Hulu & Spotify Team Up to Offer a $9.99 Bundle

Even if someone opts to try out a free 30-day trial of Spotify first, they will still have access to Hulu.

In total, it's worth nearly $72 in saved subscription fees over the course of a year.

Spotify is giving the ad-supported version of Hulu (which usually costs $5.99-a-month) to all new and existing US Premium subscribers for free.

Also, those who have a family plan are excluded from this promotion.

Spotify has teamed up with Hulu in the past.

Spotify already had a good thing going by bundling Spotify Premium and Hulu for $12.99 each month.

"We know Hulu customers enjoy music just as much as they love television, so what better way to bring all of their favorite shows, movies, songs, and podcasts to them in one really attractive offer?" said Patrizio Spagnoletto, vice president of media and subscriber growth at Hulu.

An offer that is running for a limited time or while supplies last will net you free access to Hulu (ad-supported) should you have or create a Spotify Premium account. "As we push towards making Spotify Premium a gateway to a bigger world of entertainment, we're fully committed to finding new ways to enhance the overall experience for our Premium users and this is just the beginning". The Swedish streaming giant also revealed the acquisition of two major podcast companies, Gimlet and Anchor, which added to this new Hulu deal gives an idea of the breadth of the company's plans.

The bad news is that this isn't a permanent deal.
