Rebellion Announce Four New Sniper Elite Projects

If you're new to Sniper Elite III you can now enjoy the same award-winning sniping but now with 9 additional DLC packs - including 3 new campaign missions - all for a great new price.

There's not many games or series on the market like Sniper Elite, which allows you to mess around in an open-world playground and meticulously slaughter enemies in one-by-one fashion.

Developer and publisher Rebellion have just announced that they have a total of 4, yes 4!, Sniper Elite projects on the go.

Third, a new standalone Sniper Elite game for VR devices is set to be revealed later this year, and it's in the works in cooperation with Just Add Water (Oddworld). Not only that, more Sniper Elite games are on the way. So yeah, this seems like a game targeting next-generation platforms.

Sniper Elite V2 Remastered has leaked before its announcement.

First, Sniper Elite V2 Remastered has been confirmed for Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch, complete with 4K and HDR support on available platforms. There'll also be new playable characters, expanded multiplayer options and all the DLC released for the original game included as well as a brand new Photo Mode. Rebellion has added a modernized renderer, as well as new post processing effects, better level geometry, more detailed textures and particles, and a new lighting system, so the brutal kill shots should look better than ever.

Rebellion Developments hasn't released another Sniper Elite game since 4 which was two years ago.

The Sniper Elite virtual reality game will be unveiled in full later this year. Don't worry though, because they did, in fact, confirm that Sniper Elite 5 is in development.

British developer Rebellion has today announced a few new massive projects based around the Sniper Elite series.
