The Mandalorian revealed at Star Wars Celebration, sizzle reel leaks online

The series will be eight episodes long and cost a reported $100 million to make. It became a multi-Emmy victor and is now regarded as essential Star Wars. And leading the pack will be The Mandalorian!

He travels the outer reaches of the galaxy alone away from the laws of the New Republic. Below are some screenshots of the footage shown during the panel with the team building the models using 3D printers and LEDs for the engine lights. He is played by a background extra running through the hall behind Lando Calrissian during the evacuation of Cloud City in The Empire Strikes Back, and although the actor is unknown and the character was nameless, he inspired endless jokes and speculation because the "futuristic" device he was carrying was actually an ice cream maker. In one scene The Mandalorian was riding a Dewback. And while it wasn't made clear if Dave Filoni ever attempted to secure himself a role in Iron Man 2 or any of the other MCU flicks, Jon Favreau was quick to try and insert himself into Filoni's world.

"The Mandalorian" is set five years after the Rebellion took down the Empire in "Return of the Jedi", at a time where only vestiges of the Empire remain, only the strong are surviving and chaos is taking over.

"If you look throughout history, it's fun at first, but it gets very complicated quickly". The Mandalorian takes the job, but before he leaves, Herzog's character has a few parting words for him: "It's good for beskar to be back in the hands of a Mandalorian".

Lucasfilm revealed the new Star Wars: The Clone Wars trailer today at the show's Star Wars Celebration panel! "We were so excited to bring this idea to the screen".

We were treated to the first footage from The Mandalorian and saw Pescal's character seemingly tracking someone down.

Sizzle reel footage showed Cara wielding a blaster and hitting the dirt in some intense action sequences; during one stunt, Carano said, she had to drag a character from a battle field to safety - and she had to film multiple takes. Carano plays a character named Cara Dune, an ex-Rebel Shock Trooper. They have now posted a replay of the entire panel, which includes three clips and the new trailer. Yes, CGI is far more flexible, but you can't beat the look of those practical effects as they just really age. Additional episodes will be directed by Deborah Chow (Jessica Jones), Rick Famuyiwa (Dope), Bryce Dallas Howard (Solemates) and Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok). That's quite an eclectic bunch, but that was by design, according to Favreau. "Everyone was from a different perspective, a different generation", Favreau said. "We love pulling all the different stories together". Are you a fan of Matt Lanter and Hayden Christensen as Anakin? "But these are new characters and new stories, so it's a great way to invite new people in".

The 8-episode first season (I'm assuming there will be more) of The Mandalorian will be premiering when Disney+ drops on 12 November.
