Wendy Williams splits from husband after 21 years of marriage

New York Page Six reports that Williams and Hunter are splitting because of "irreconcilable differences".

Wendy previously told her show's viewers that they would know if her marriage were in serious danger the day that she removed her wedding band.

The talk show host is divorcing her husband of almost 22 years, Williams' attorney confirmed to Page Six on Thursday. Hunter allegedly went to his wife to confess all of his alleged transgressions, prior to her electing to enter a sober living facility.

Fif hit up Instagram Friday morning with more than shade aimed at the talk show host. There are people in your family; it might be you.

A representative for her show also released the following statement: "Wendy and her family have been a part of Debmar-Mercury for over 10 years, ". He alleged that Hunter accused him of hooking Hudson up with other guys, then fired him from The Wendy Williams Show.

The 54-year-old Williams and 46-year-old Kevin Hunter have a 19-year-old son, Kevin Jr. We respect their privacy regarding personal matters. "No additional comment will be provided at this time".

This relationship has affected Williams's health to a large extent. And putting her life back together includes getting rid of anybody toxic - specifically, her husband.

Now sources close to the couple are reporting to The Blast that Williams' choice to file for divorce took place quite a while ago although she has been putting on a courageous face for her viewing audience. She added, "I wanted to kill him". "After I go to the Pilates I go to several meetings all around town in the tri-state area, and I see my brothers and sisters caught up in their addiction and looking for help", she said.

"It has made our marriage - and I know this is cliché, but it's true - it's made our marriage stronger", she told VladTV in 2013.

"You know I've had a struggle with cocaine in my past".
