Avengers Endgame Screenings Get Spider-Man Sequel Tease

Now playing in theaters, Deadline reports the movie has a Tom Holland pre-film message which tells the audience to stick around after the film to see the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer that picks up after the events from The Avengers: Endgame. "It's so amusing - the two films I referenced in the movies, the first one is Empire Strikes Back and the second one is Aliens. and I haven't seen either of those movies!"

Via Deadline, Holland's message is separate from the spoiler warning he filmed for the new Spidey trailer. Holland's upcoming film, Spider-Man: Far From Home already released a trailer heavy on Endgame spoilers and directly tied to events of the film. However, since it's been a few fruitful weeks at the box office for Endgame, it's unclear how many people will stick around for the trailer considering some will be seeing the film for a second (or third) time and the trailer itself has been racking up big numbers in its own right online since Monday.

Apart from Holland, Far From Home will also feature Samuel L Jackson, Jake Gyllenhaal, Marisa Tomei, Zendaya, Cobie Smulders and Jon Favreau, among others. Marvel's previous films this year, Captain Marvel and Endgame, have brought in over $3 billion worldwide. As it turns out, the Russo brothers have placed the trailer for SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME in place of the typical post credits sequence.
