Taylor Swift’s Reputation album was inspired by Game Of Thrones

Look what you made Taylor Swift do, Arya Stark.

Taylor Swift's new Entertainment Weekly cover shows her wearing a denim jacket covered with buttons, all of which are clues to her upcoming album.

Taylor Swift must have heard our collective cries for more interviews, because she's been on quite the press-friendly roll.

"So much of my imagination was spent on Game of Thrones", she said. She admitted in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that numerous songs on the 2017 album were influenced by the show.

'I definitely don't wanna have too much of one thing...you get some joyful songs and you get the bops, as they say, ' Swift added.

Developing on this idea, Swift went on to say that while half of the album was influenced by the bloodshed she witnessed in the HBO series, the other half was inspired by the more reflective, touching moments viewers were granted in season 7 (we're racking our brains and nope, we can't think of any). Still, there are a number of "really, really, really, really sad songs", (but "not enough to where you need to worry about me"). "It's even got this post-hook of drums - I wanted them to sound like Dothraki drums". Another inspiration from the same character was when she along with Sansa plotted to kill Littlefinger.

"My entire outlook on storytelling has been shaped by ['Game of Thrones'] - the ability to foreshadow stories, to meticulously craft cryptic story lines", she said. "Is that weird? No one asked for this information.' But one of the first things they said was 'Our daughters love your music.' I'm like, 'This is my in". "I just feel so lucky to exist when Game of Thrones is coming out". But, they know you're probably sending a message. If you see any symbolism in my easter egg situation, that's just cause I love cats.

It looks like a Drake and Taylor Swift collaboration might finally come to fruition. In fact, Taylor Swift revealed that she roots for Sophie as Sansa Stark to take the Iron Throne in the Game of Thrones. "But if I'm being realistic, I think Sansa has the skill set and the ability to delegate and put on a fearless face but a stoic demeanor".
