Stephen Colbert does his best impression of Trump's 'Prince of Whales'

Before long, "Prince of Whales" was the number one Twitter trend in the UK.

Weeks after United States President Donald Trump had invoked a gaffe parade on social media for "fist-bumping" the British Queen, he referred to Prince Charles as the "Prince of Whales".

President Donald Trump's 73rd birthday is Friday, and the people of Washington, D.C., complimented his looks, sang him happy birthday, and in some cases, had not-so-nice things to say on his special day.

Referring to his recent United Kingdom state visit, the president initially wrote on Twitter: "I meet and talk to "foreign governments" every day. We talked about 'Everything!'" Trump tweeted.

Trump, whether of his own accord or perhaps after seeing a host mock-ups of Charles with a dorsal fin posted in reply, deleted the tweet and corrected it to the proper spelling. How ridiculous! I would never be trusted again.

Even the Royal Albert Hall introduced a few temporary changes to their Prince of Wales room; all the portraits and works of art adorning the room were replaced with pictures of whales.

Countless photoshopped images of Prince Charles as a whale and with whales flooded twitter, as well as hilarious edits of Trump meeting with actual whales instead of the prince.

The US leader spent three days in the United Kingdom earlier this month and met several royals while he was there, including the Queen, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. "We'll be in touch!" the company wrote in its tweet.

Others on Twitter also shared jokes and amusing Photoshops.
