Father of Celtics pick Waters found dead

Father of Celtics pick Waters found dead

Romeo Langford, Grant Williams and Tremont Waters were all drafted by Boston in June and are hoping to become rotation players, like Edwards.

With the Celtics signing Kemba Walker in free agency, Edwards could be an option for the team as the backup point guard.

Robert Williams III has the most National Basketball Association experience on the Celtics' Summer League roster, and he proved what the potential scouts raved about before he was drafted in 2018 is alive and well.

Many viewed Edwards as a first-round talent and could be seen as a steal in the future for the Celtics.

Williams, drafted with the 22nd pick out of Tennessee, has been great for Boston in the Summer League.

Fan favorite, 7-foot-6 Tacko Fall (UCF), is scoring 8.5 points and grabbing 4.5 rebounds in 14 minutes per game. Next year, Brown could remain relatively stagnant in terms of production - as he did from the 2017-18 regular season to the 2018-19 regular season- or he could finally make the jump that's been expected of him since he was selected with the third overall pick.

The Boston Celtics defeated the Memphis Grizzlies, 113-87, in the Las Vegas Summer League at Thomas & Mack Center on Thursday. Boston has reportedly been working on a deal with Edwards over the last few weeks, and he could be in line for a four-year deal as well. He was averaging 10 points and 5.3 assists in four games during the Las Vegas Summer League.
