'Super 30' off to decent start on Day One

According to a source, the working title of the movie "Hrithik vs Tiger" has been widely publicised to register a sense of showdown between the two action heroes in the film. The film witnessed average footfalls at the theatres on the morning and afternoon shows, but the occupancy increased towards the evening shows.

The films seem to have impressed B-town celebrities and serval film critics. While some lauded Hrithik's performance, others called the film inspiring.

Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film also stars Mrunal Thakur and Nandish Sandhu in pivotal roles and had hit the screens on July 12. The budget of the film is being said to be worth Rs 85 crore.

While the anticipated numbers for the opening day are pretty decent compared to the expectations, the morning occupancy is in the range of 35-40%, which is better still than yesterday and definitely is a sign that a good box office numbers can be expected for the day too!

In this box office report, we compare Hrithik's Super 30 with other releases of 2019. "Though next week, it will have competition from The Lion King", he stated.

Gujarat chief minister Vijay Rupani also watched the film and shared his reaction on Twitter. He wrote, "Super 30' is a film that showcases the life of struggle with all its reality".

The action thriller is being released under the banner of Yash Raj Films (YRF) and it seems like they have made a decision to keep the details, including the title of the film a secret to build up curiosity. The estimated budget of Super 30 is 115 crore.

Super 30 isn't confronting any challenge from another new big release; however, the past release Kabir Singh and Article 15 is still on with their magical run at theatres.
