This is the Mi A3, Xiaomi's new pure Android smartphone

"That said, the Mi A3 will sport a 6" FHD+ AMOLED display, have 4GB RAM, and will be offered in 64GB and 128GB storage options. For the first time, the company has teased the Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite officially. However, Xiaomi global spokesperson Donovan Sung sent out a tweet asking what they were looking forward to in the next generation of the Mi A series.

Coming exclusively from MySmartPrice, the Xiaomi Mi A3 will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC whereas the Xiaomi Mi A3 Lite will come with a Snapdragon 675.

Xiaomi is widely expected to launch the Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite smartphones soon, and these will be part of Google's Android One program. Along with the Mi A3, the company is also going to introduce Mi A3 Lite, a lighter version of the phone.

The Mi A3's launch seems imminent. Codenames of both the phones have also been leaked (or rather, reiterated), and the Mi A3 Lite is rumoured to be called cosmos_sprout, while the Mi A3 phone is internally reported to be called bamboo_sprout.

The FCC phone's model number M1906F9SH also lines up well with a Xiaomi phone spotted on TENAA last month. The CC9e had a codename "laurus" in China, and Android One devices come with "_sprout" suffix.

The rumour got a stronger base after a Xiaomi device with the model name "laurus" was recently spotted on Geekbench listings with 6GB RAM and Android 9. We have heard few rumors about the phones, and the last one from XDA claimed that the new Mi A3 series could be powered by either Snapdragon 710 or Snapdragon 712. We now have three rear cameras instead of two, along with much slimmer bezels surrounding the 6-inch AMOLED display and a waterdrop notch at the top for the front-facing camera.
