Friends fans may not be getting a reunion special for the show's 25th anniversary but they are getting another special surprise!

Do you plan to watch Friends in the theater? See Friends the way it was literally never meant to be seen: On a giant screen in a movie theater!

Viewers can also expect to enjoy never-before-seen footage as well as exclusive interviews.

That's right! To celebrate the beloved sitcom's 25th anniversary, Warner Bros. and Fathom Events are teaming up to release 'Friends 25th: The One with the Anniversary'. Fans will have the unique opportunity to come together and look back on some of the most hilarious and also emotional scenes from the comedy - this time in theaters'. A complete list of theater locations will be available August 16 on the Fathom Events website (theaters and participants are subject to change).

The new episodes are said to have been remastered in 4K resolution.

Twelve episodes of the hit show will play over three nights - September 23, Sept. 28 and October 2.

"The cultural impact that Friends continues to have, 25 years after its premiere, is astounding", Warner Bros. It is so fantastic to know that the series is still bringing people of all ages together.

Aniston appeared on the series alongside Courteney Cox, 55, Lisa Kudrow, 56, David Schwimmer, 52, Matthew Perry, 49, and Matt LeBlanc, 52, for a decade until its cancellation in 2004.
