But their silence reached to the flashpoint when Abhinav slapped Palak in a fit of rage.

The complaint filed by Shweta against Abhinav, the website said that the latter was brought in later in the day and was questioned by the police. He painted a picture of loving affection not only towards Shweta, but also towards her daughter Palak, whom he apparently accepted wholeheartedly. After a four hour-long discussion with the police, the actress reportedly decided not to take legal action and chose to keep the issue within the family.

She was accompanied by her mother and Palak when she informed the police about Abhinav's behavior and was spotted crying and shouting inside the station.

Abhinav and Shweta don't share their personal life with fans or media and since a year, neither of them has admitted that they are going through a serious problem.

In 2010, Shweta, during her stay in the Bigg Boss house, had revealed being in a relationship with Abhinav Kohli.

A report has been filed against Abhinav which read that the 38-year-old had abused in filthy language to her stepdaughter Palak. For the same, an offence under section No.342/19 u/s 354-A, 323, 504, 506, 509 IPC r/w 67-A IT act is registered against Abhinav Kohli.

When reached out to Samta Nagar police, an officer shared that they have arrested Abhinav but refused to divulge any other details.

There have been rumours of trouble in their marriage from nearly a year now. While Abhinav also had denied speaking on any kind of rumours. Our heart bleeds for Shweta, her first marriage with Raja Chaudhary was a disaster and Raja too was a violent man.
