Coming This November for Only $4.99 a Month

The service, which includes buzzy new shows like Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston's The Morning Show and millennial Emily Dickinson riff Dickinson, will launch on Friday, Nov. 1 and cost $4.99 per month. Apple held a product event last March, during which it spent an hour bringing celebrities to the stage but disclosing few specifics.

The first shows will go live on the Apple TV app (available on iPhones, iPads and Apple TV streamers) on 1st November, with more content added each month.

Apple on Tuesday announced its streaming service, Apple TV+, will launch on November 1 and charge $4.99 a month. "Each Apple TV+ original offers its own unique story, fresh perspective and powerful message - all meant to entertain, connect and inspire cultural conversations".

Subscribers can watch Apple TV+ originals both online and offline, ad-free and on demand, on the Apple TV app, which comes pre-installed on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and iPod touch and will soon be on Mac with macOS Catalina.

But Apple's streaming service undercuts the price of its rivals. It will integrate with the Apple TV Channels service, which lets users subscribe to other providers like HBO, STARZ, and Showtime individually.

While Apple may have these big names on board, and exclusivity for the titles they're offering, it's likely that the appeal of these games won't be as much of a draw as if the service was offering AAAs.

Starring Jason Momoa, Alfre Woodard, Sylvia Hoeks and others, the series is set in a future when all the humans have lost the ability to see and thus the civlisation has had to find new methods to interact, to build, to hunt and to survive.
