Google Pixel 4 promo video leaks, shows off astrophotography mode

A leaked promotional video for the Google Pixel 4 has confirmed pretty much every rumor out there about the device.

Like the Pixel 3 series that precedes it, this year's Pixel 4 duo will support Google's Night Sight feature although this time it'll be speedier and permit clear photos of the sky at night. You can see the new dual cam on the back of the white Pixel 4, but interestingly the ad focuses on the low-light performance – something Google aced a couple of years ago.

This marks the latest feature the Pixel 4 is rumored to have.

The Google Pixel 4 leaks - both official and unofficial - keep pouring in as we inch closer to the expected launch period.

You know how Google likes to release a colored variant of its phones to sit alongside black and white models?

Citing a "reliable supply acquainted with the company's plans", the report states that the Pixel 4's Google Assistant will be capable of taking over for you if you've been positioned on hold during a call. Those three cameras are placed in the top-left corner of the phone's back side, along with an LED flash. The Pixel 4 will have a 5.7-inch display and the Pixel 4 XL will have a 6.3-inch display.

That way, you could carry on with your day for a few minutes, then be told to pick up the phone by a nearby Google Home, for example, or via a message appearing over the show you were watching on TV. And this new feature is the capability to capture photos of the stars.

For 8x zoom, it is unclear whether the camera would feature optical zoom or a combination of both optical and digital. These relate to the camera, which is receiving an upgraded Night Sight mode, and also a new toy for photographers in the form of "Motion Mode".

Underneath the hood, Pixel 4 telephones will operate Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 chip.

For starters, the clip shows off Pixel 4's air gestures, which will allow users to perform various tasks such as skipping music tracks by simply waving their hand over the front sensors.
