Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition will release on January 23, 2020.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition has been given a solid release date for Nintendo Switch. The game was originally released back for the DS in 2007 but a remixed version was just recently released for the Nintendo Switch a year ago.

The original game featured four-player multiplayer, but hardly anyone was able to play it, as each additional player needed to use a Game Boy Advance and a GBA-Gamecube link cable to play. The trailer also states that the game will support cross-play online multiplayer for the game's various platforms. It's a spinoff to the mainline Final Fantasy series, and at the time was the first game in the franchise to be released for a Nintendo platform since 1994's Final Fantasy VI. Young adventurers embark on a journey once a year seeking "drops of myrrh" to purify the crystals.
