The victims' ages range between 32 and 49 years old.

Four people have been killed and multiple are injured after a shooting inside an illegal gambling location in NY on Saturday.

Four men were pronounced dead at the scene, while two other men and a woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries, the police official said. The three who were injured were taken to Kings County Hospital and Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center. The club sits on Utica Avenue in the Crown Heights neighborhood. The shooting happened in the Brooklyn borough of the city and at least three others were severely injured, NBC and other news outlets reported.

Shea said that among the victims, two were from "out of state" and the remaining five resided in different areas of Brooklyn.

Police do not have any information yet on what the motive for the shooting might have been, nor do they have any info on a suspect at this time, Magoolaghan said. The gambling operation was unlicensed, but police had not previously received any complaints about the location, authorities said.

No arrests have been made so far in connection with the shooting, according to the New York Police Department (NYPD) spokesperson. Police said the incident does not appear to be gang-related.
