First Trailer For The Rock's Upcoming "Jungle Cruise" Movie

First Trailer For The Rock's Upcoming

Disney has released the first trailer for the long-gestating Jungle Cruise, which Disney really wants you to know is a Disney movie because whenever they mention the title they put Disney before it.

The trailer was originally launched via Dwayne Johnson's Instagram Live and featured "The Rock" interacting with a boat full of skippers from the Jungle Cruise attraction at the Disneyland Resort. The film will narrow that location down to the Amazon, which serves as the mystical location of the mythic Tree of Life, which Dwayne Johnson's riverboat captain and Emily Blunt's scientist are searching for in the film directed by Jaume Collet-Serra.

Given how "Pirates of the Caribbean" was such a success, you can't blame Disney for trying to replicate the same. We're here for Blunt, who starts the trailer by making a grand escape out of a window with the help of a ladder, and ends it coming to blows with a man who appears to be made entirely out of jungle vines and snakes.

Emily Blunt is America's most exciting action star. It's the Jungle Cruise after all!
