Galaxy Note 10 Lite may be Samsung’s next bet

Samsung is working on a cheaper model of the Galaxy Note 10 line already launched this year, and it will be called Galaxy Note 10 Lite, according to SamMobile website sources.

It would already be odd for Samsung to dilute its flagship smartphone lineup with even more models, but adding a new entry to the S10 lineup only a few months before the S11 series will become available is even stranger.

According to SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite will launch in black and red, and will be available in Europe. Unlike the Galaxy S10e, which is more affordable than the Galaxy S10 but is quite similar in terms of specs, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite is expected to be a downgrade over the standard Galaxy Note 10 in most areas.

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite is said to bear the model number SM-N770F. It then doubled down on this claim on Friday morning, revealing that sources have suggested the phone will be called the Galaxy Note 10 Lite. Unfortunately, however, there is no other information that is available now regarding the tech specs of the device. Either way, Agarwal says that the phone will share specs with the upcoming Galaxy A91, the highest spec handset of Samsung's budget A series phones.
