Oppo K5 with 64MP quad camera setup launched: Price, specifications

Oppo turned heads last month when it announced 65W charging, making it the fastest wired charging solution in the industry. It offers 1080p FHD+ resolution, 90H refresh rate, and 135Hz sampling rate.

Oddly, with this being a flagship and under the Reno brand name, there is a notch, whereas the previous flagship Reno, and the Reno2 all use the handsome sharkfin style pop up.

In mid-September, Oppo claimed it could fully restore a dead smartphone battery in just 30 minutes, and now we have info on the first device aiming to make good on that promise. It also has 32 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture. The company has introduced the latest Reno entrant besides the Oppo K5 in the Chinese market. It comes in three different variants including 6GB RAM with 64GB Storage, 8GB RAM with 64GB Storage and 8 GB RAM with 256GB storage.

When it comes to specifications, the phone closely resembles the 7T, the newest device from its OnePlus sister brand. Ten minutes of charge will sufficient to run the phone for next one hour.

Oppo Reno Ace also comes with 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

OPPO's Reno Ace 40th Anniversary Edition uses Gundam's original classic colors such as red, white and blue, which is also a long-lasting trendy color scheme, according to OPPO.

Fast charging speeds, no matter how impressive, can't be the only reason to get the Reno Ace, and they're not. There's no word on global availability just yet. Theres a small waterdrop notch for the 16MP selfie cam, an under-display fingerprint scanner and dual firing speakers. The device's screen-to-body ratio is 91.7-percent, by the way.

The camera? The same. The main lens has 48-megapixels and an f/1.7 aperture, and it's joined by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 13-megapixel long-focus lens, and a 2-megapixel monochrome lens that will be used for portrait shots.

However the Reno Ace has a far more capacious, 4,000 mAh battery.
