Her beloved followers also got a new offering from the "Bad Guy" singer when she debuted a mullet at the LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles earlier this week.

With her green roots intact, 17-year-old Eilish channeled Joan Jett with a fresh choppy shag. She does what she wants, and it's all uniquely her. While fans assumed it was a purposeful style choice, Billie later revealed to TMZ that her new look was actually a dye job gone wrong. What do you mean mullet? You know what happened? "Somebody dyed my hair, and they burnt half of it off!" she told TMZ on November 5. It's not on objective though. "I'm growing that s-t out". The new hairstyle wasn't even on goal as it was the result of an accident by a hairstylist.

Just recently, Lady Gaga, 33, Demi Lovato, 27, and Ashlee Simpson, 35, all chose to dye their hair different shades of pink. Demi also tried out the pink trend on October 1, when her hair was done by hairstylist, Paul Norton, who styled her hair using Unite Hair Lazer Straight.

While you might associate the mullet haircut with '80s hair bands and Billy Ray Cyrus singing "Achy Breaky Heart", pop icon Billie Eilish is the latest celebrity making the retro look cool again.
