A Spirit Airlines flight heading to Fort Lauderdale from LaGuardia Airport in NY was diverted to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Thursday night after several complaints of medical issues, because of an odd odor, officials said. Spirit Airlines said the source was being investigated and although the diversion was an inconvenience, the safety of their guests is 'paramount'. The airlines said it was still looking into what caused the stink.
